Rolex, Swiss, wristwatch mvt in exhibition case marked "Rolex 29 World's Records," 44mm, chrome-plated base metal OF original display style case, as-made without dial, SW-SS, lever escapement, 17J, wheel satin nickel finish, s#3514 to dial plate. A very rare and attractive exhibition piece of mid-1930s vintage; a perfect addition to a Rolex collection.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light toning of plate surfaces, dial plate with micro-fine scratches; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, some nicks and fine scratches, chrome loss to a portion near crown; crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystals.
